More than a century ago, the Famous Five challenged the status quo by first convening with like minded women through Pink Teas. Today, we continue in that spirit with Pink After 5, creating space to hear from women who are shaping their fields and contributing to change in their communities today.
This fall, the Famous 5 Foundation is hosting four evenings that bring together leading voices and a small audience for thoughtful conversation and shared ideas.
Each evening is centred on a featured speaker and their work, with formats that may include talks, moderated discussion, and audience Q&A. After the formal program, guests are invited to stay, connect, and continue the conversation.
Be curious. Ask questions. Leave Inspired.

Patti Pon
Public Art, the Famous Five and Their Legacy
How does the way we commemorate the past influence the way we understand it today?
Patti will explore public art through the story and legacy of the Famous Five, looking at how monuments, stories, and public spaces shape collective memory. The conversation will consider how our understanding of historical figures and their contributions can evolve over time, and what it means to engage with both their accomplishments and the fuller context of their legacies.
At Pink After 5, Patti invites guests to think differently about the spaces and stories around them and to consider how public art can create opportunities for reflection, dialogue, representation, and a deeper understanding of the communities we share.
