With an international reputation as an award-winning author and a renowned political and cultural commentator, Charlotte Gray has been awarded five honorary doctorates from Canada’s leading universities. She is also a member of the Order of Canada, a Library and Archives Canada Scholar, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.

Meet May 17 VIP Guest Host - Karen Prentice, K.C., ICD.D. !

Karen Prentice's exceptional career spans three decades, enriched with extensive expertise in legal, executive management, and governance.

Notably, she chaired the Board of Trustees of the TSX traded CANMARC REIT and served six years with the Alberta Securities Commission. Prior to her service in these roles, Prentice was an Executive Vice-President of ENMAX Corporation, responsible for legal services, corporate governance, human resources, facilities, environment, health and safety, government relations and corporate communication functions.

She currently is a director of The National Music Centre, The Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo and the Calgary Arts Foundation. Previously she was the Chair of the Banff International Research Station for Innovation and Discovery, a member of the boards of The Walrus Foundation, OCAD University, the National Arts Centre Foundation, Canada's National History Society, Calgary's Telus Spark, the Calgary YWCA and the Ottawa Art Gallery.

In 2022, Karen Prentice was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (Alberta) for her service to her peers, to her community, to Alberta and to Canada.
