Eighty years ago there occurred a significant event in Canadian history, the date when women were recognized as persons in law. Nellie McClung: A One “Person” Play celebrates that anniversary through the depiction of Nellie’s work, warmth and humour.

Nellie McClung: A One “Person” Play will be presented on the following dates and in the following locations:

Sunday, October 18, 3:00 (Persons Day) – Central United Church, Brandon - Tickets ($20) are available at the church (204-727-0577) or at the door. Jellinek Mission Statement
The Jellinek Society is a non-profit organization providing a home-like residential facility from which recovering cross-addicted and alcoholic males re-enter society sober, successful and self-reliant.
The house in which the Jellinek Society is located was the home of Nellie McClung and her family while they lived in Edmonton.
